Music at Blue Heron Mine Bill Collins, Sherri Frischi (Park Ranger), and Edsel Blevins provide music for the riders of the Big South Fork Scenic Railway, which makes trips through the scenic mining country of Southern Kentucky. The train makes a stop at Blue Heron Coal Mining Camp. Blue Heron was built by the Stearns Coal & Lumber Company in 1937 and operated until 1962. Joe & Sherri •
